Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use EventApp by Eventista. They are not legal advice. Eventista Ltd recommends that a solicitor reviews them against your contracts.

1. Who we are

Eventista Ltd, registered in England and Wales, provides the website and applications at https://eventapp.eventista.co.uk (“EventApp”). Contact admin@eventista.co.uk.

2. Using EventApp

You may use EventApp to register for events, hold a ticket, view an agenda, and use the visitor features an organiser has switched on, including the social feed. You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private.

Event tickets and attendance are supplied by the event organiser. The price, currency, and any refund rule shown at checkout are the organiser’s. Where a price is in pounds, that is sterling (£).

3. Lead Scanner

Lead Scanner is a business tool for exhibitors. Access is issued by Eventista Ltd after you apply to us. The app does not create that account. We can withdraw scanner access if the agreement ends or the account is misused.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• break the law, or infringe someone else’s rights;
• upload unlawful, misleading, or abusive content;
• scan badges or collect leads except for a stand you are authorised to work;
• attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service.

5. Your content and privacy

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Eventista Ltd permission to host and display it so the Service can run. Our privacy policy explains personal data. EventApp visitor and speaker accounts can be deleted from Delete your account.

6. Availability and liability

We aim to keep EventApp available, but events, venues, and networks can interrupt it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that the law of England and Wales does not allow us to limit.

Subject to that, Eventista Ltd is not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, or indirect loss arising from use of the Service. Our total liability arising from the Service in any 12 month period is limited to the fees you paid Eventista Ltd for the Service in that period, or £100 if you paid no such fees.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also use the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
